According to a survey by International Information System Security Certification Consortium, 47% of cybersecurity pros surveyed say they’ve been moved to general IT duties.
Of security pros who’ve been reassigned to IT, 30% say they’ve seen a rise in security incidents against their organization, versus 17% who say their tasks have stayed the same but incidents have risen.
