Twitter Fined $547k By EU Watchdog Over 2018 Breach

Ireland’s data regulator has fined Twitter €450,000 (U.S.$547,000) in connection with a 2018 bug that made some users’ protected tweets public. So reports TechCrunch.

Ireland’s Data Protection Commission, which oversees the EU operations of several tech giants, found that Twitter had failed to report the incident promptly.
