E-retailer CafePress Inks $2M Settlement Over Data Breach

Online retailer CafePress has reached a $2 million settlement with seven states following a 2019 data breach. So reports WZZM 13, an ABC affiliate in Michigan, one of the states affected.

Cafe PressThe breach exposed the personal data of about 22 million customers, according to the announcement by the states’ attorneys general.

Compromised data included names, email addresses, mailing addresses, passwords, phone numbers and, in certain instances, Social Security numbers as well as partial credit card information.
