Ex-L.A. Cybersecurity Official Pleads Guilty to Lying to FBI  

David Alexander, a former chief cyber risk officer for the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, has agreed to plead guilty to lying to the FBI in connection with a wider scandal at the agency. So reports the Los Angeles Times.

FBI seal g4471fd7d1 640It’s the third tentative plea deal in the scandal, which arose out of lawsuits filed over DWP billing mistakes.

Others pleading guilty include Paul Paradis, a lawyer hired by City Attorney Mike Feuer’s office, and former DWP general manager David Wright, both on bribery charges.
