The hack, which officials said took place in January, represents the largest-ever breach of data for students from kindergarten through high school in America.
The breach led to a weeks-long shutdown of the PupilPath and Skedula platforms. Illuminate Education, which owns the platforms, said in a statement that there is “no evidence of any fraudulent or illegal activity related to this incident.”
