Feds Investigate 'Significant' Data Breach of Court System  

Lawmakers have called for more information about a breach of the federal courts document management system, newly disclosed to the public for the first time at a House Judiciary Committee hearing. So reports Bloomberg.

scales 309078 1280Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-N.Y.), who chairs the committee, said that the “incredibly significant and sophisticated” cyberattack took place more than 18 months ago and was the work of three hostile foreign actors.

Nadler said the committee found out in March about “the startling breadth and scope of the courts’ documents management system security failure.”
