The attack, discovered February 17, included personal details of employees and wanted fugitives as well as other sensitive law enforcement materials, according to officials.
A spokesperson for the U.S. Marshals Service said the affected system was disconnected shortly after the attack was discovered and the Department of Justice has begun investigating.
