According to a complaint in Florida federal court, ILS stored patient data recklessly and negligently, gave inadequate notice, kept patient data on a “vulnerable” system and failed to “take necessary” steps to safeguard personal information.

The Miami-based company said last September that on July 5, 2022, it had discovered “an incident involving the inaccessibility of certain computer systems.”
