A report unveiled at the World Economic Forum in Davos says that nearly half of critical manufacturing organizations worldwide face a substantial data-breach risk. So reports Cybersecurity Dive.

thumb down 1426814 640According to the report by IT security firm SecurityScorecard, 48% of manufacturing providers in critical sectors named by the U.S. government earn a 'C' rating or worse for cyber resilience.

Aleksandr Yampolskiy, co-founder and CEO of SecurityScorecard, cited third-party risk and a decline in patching cadence.
