U.S. Agencies Drop the Ball on Cybersecurity: GAO

Most federal agencies are missing the mark on information security, the Government Accountability Office found in a new study. So reports Politico.

Out of the government’s 21 civilian agencies, 17 were ineffectively instituting their cybersecurity programs, the GAO said. Meanwhile, the number of information security incidents at government agencies rose 14 percent in the last fiscal year.
