Apple, Fitbit Users' Data Found In Unsecured Database  

Security researchers have discovered a non-password-protected database containing more than 61 million user records involving wearable devices from Apple and Fitbit. So reports Fierce Healthcare.

password security 4993196 640smallResearchers with the cybersecurity team WebsitePlanet said the unsecured database was owned by GetHealth, a third-party vendor focusing on health and wellness data from smart devices.

GetHealth reportedly secured the system within hours and the researchers said they were not suggesting any user data was at risk.
