Multinationals Facing Cybersecurity Clampdown in China

The Chinese government is conducting cybersecurity investigations of foreign companies doing business there as the country heightens restrictions around cloud computing and other areas. So reports Bloomberg, citing a Financial Times article.  

Beijing intends to toughen up its cyber requirements in December to improve “national information security,” according to documents seen by the FT. At least two companies that handle Chinese customer information were already reportedly subject to cybersecurity probes.
