Data of One Million Exposed in Swedish Insurance Breach

Swedish insurance firm Folksam Group has revealed that it accidentally shared the data of a million clients with big tech companies. So reports Bloomberg.

folksamFolksam said in a statement that after an internal audit, it found that client information had been made available to Facebook, Google, Microsoft, LinkedIn and Adobe.

Folksam, which handles about $50 billion in insurance assets, said, “We have immediately stopped sharing this personal information and requested that it be deleted.”
