New Apple Malware Baffles Cybersecurity Pros

Security researchers are struggling to figure out previously unknown malware that has been unearthed on nearly 30,000 Apple Macintosh computers around the world. So reports Ars Technica.

AppleWhile infected Macs check a server hourly for new malware-related commands, security pros haven’t seen the malware take any such commands yet, so it’s uncertain what the malware is intended to do.

Researchers are also reportedly puzzled over the malware’s self-destruct function.
