BlackRock Accidentally Exposes Details of 20,000 Clients

About 20,000 financial advisers who are clients of BlackRock had their names and other personal information exposed after a data leak at the world’s largest asset manager. So reports Bloomberg.

Security data breach keyboard 895556 1920BlackRock confirmed that it had “inadvertently posted a small number of sales-related documents, which were up for a short period of time, and promptly removed.” The leak mainly hit advisers with LPL Financial, the biggest U.S. independent broker-dealer.
