Senator Warner Calls for More Cyber Spending

Sen. Mark Warner, the ranking Democrat on the Senate intelligence committee, wants more cybersecurity spending and called for a realignment of the Pentagon’s priorities when talking at the Center for a New American Security. So reports Fifth Domain.

Warner also called for a boost in technology investments. The Pentagon is planning an $8.5 billion cybersecurity budget for next year, but it is unclear if that number will survive potential budget cuts.
