Neiman Marcus to Pay $1.5M for 2013 Data Breach

The Neiman Marcus Group has settled with more than 40 state attorneys general for $1.5 million over a data breach. So reports the Associated Press.

The Dallas-based retailer revealed in January 2014 that customer credit-card data at 77 Neiman Marcus stores had been exposed. Unknown third parties accessed some 370,000 store credit cards during a three-month period in 2013.
