New Zealand’s Central Bank Reveals 'Sensitive' Data Breach

New Zealand’s central bank has disclosed that sensitive information may have been accessed after a hacker breached one of its data systems. So reports the Associated Press.

new zealand 156332 640“The nature and extent of information that has been potentially accessed is still being determined, but it may include some commercially and personally sensitive information,” Reserve Bank of New Zealand Governor Adrian Orr said in a statement.

The unidentified hacker had illegally accessed a third-party file sharing service used by the financial institution, the bank said.
