USCellular Discloses Data Breach After Retail Workers Fooled

USCellular has revealed that it suffered a data breach where hackers stole information from the customer relationship management system. So reports Bleeping Computer.

USCellular“A few employees in retail stores were successfully scammed by unauthorized individuals and downloaded software onto a store computer," the nation’s fourth largest wireless carrier said in a Vermont regulatory filing.

It wasn’t clear how many customers were affected by the attack, which USCellular said may have exposed wireless customer accounts and phone numbers.
