Alphabet CEO Urges Bigger Government Role in Cybersecurity  

Sundar Pichai, CEO of Google and parent company Alphabet, has called for the U.S. government to do more to safeguard against cyberattacks and to foster innovation. So reports Fox Business.

AlphabetPichai said that a Geneva Convention equivalent is now necessary for regulating cyberattacks across borders.

Speaking in an interview at The Wall Street Journal’s Tech Live conference, Pichai said, “Governments on a multilateral basis…need to put it up higher on the agenda.”
