Quantum Cybersecurity firm QuintessenceLabs Raises $25 million  

QuintessenceLabs, an Australia-based cybersecurity firm that uses quantum random number generators, has secured $25 million in a Series B round. So reports TechCrunch.

QuintessencelabsQuintessenceLabs CEO and founder Vikram Sharma said the company plans to use the funding to widen its customer base worldwide.

Sharma said QuintessenceLabs applies quantum physics for a number generator called qStream that generates encryption keys more purely random than is possible under conventional physics.
