California Town’s Data Breach Exposes Police and Lending Records  

Grass Valley, Calif., has confirmed a wide-ranging data breach that affects anyone who had their details provided to the local police department as well as anyone who applied for a loan with the town’s loan department. So reports ZDNet.

california 2798001 640 smallData exposed from the Grass Valley Police Department and the Grass Valley Community Development Department included names, Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, financial details, health insurance data and passport numbers.

The breach also included city employees’ and vendors’ Social Security numbers.
