Biden Budget Proposes Boost for Cybersecurity Funding  

The Biden administration’s recently unveiled budget for fiscal 2023 includes a hefty increase in cybersecurity spending. So reports CyberScoop.

Biden smile 5621670 640The budget allocates $10.9 billion for cybersecurity for federal civil agencies, up 11% from the previous year, plus $11.2 billion for unclassified Department of Defense cyber operations.

A budget document states, “Cybersecurity remains a top priority for this Administration, as our adversaries continue to seek new and creative means to compromise federal systems.”
