Most Ransomware Victims Say They’d Pay Up Next Time

Nearly nine-in-10 business executives who have gone through a previous ransomware attack would pay a ransom if faced with such an attack again, according to a survey by Kaspersky. So reports Security.

ransomware 2318381 640By comparison, at companies that had never experienced a ransomware attack, just 67% of executives who participated in the survey said that they would pay a ransom, according to Kaspersky.

Kaspersky polled 900 respondents globally at companies with 50 to 1,000 employees.
