FBI Cautions On University Credentials Sold By Hackers

The FBI has warned that hackers are selling credentials for access to college and university networks and virtual private networks. So reports Bleeping Computer.

“The exposure of usernames and passwords can lead to brute force credential stuffing computer network attacks,” where attackers try to use the same login combinations across multiple sites, the FBI said.
