BlackBerry’s 2Q Cybersecurity Revenue Dips

BlackBerry has announced that revenue in its cybersecurity segment in the second quarter was $111 million, down 7.5% from a year ago. So reports Reuters.

blackberryIn an earnings call, executives at the Canadian company said they project third-quarter revenue for the cybersecurity unit will be flat compared to the prior year.

Microsoft, Citrix Systems, and International Business Machines have been giving BlackBerry a run for its money in the security software space.
