CISA Director Pushes Tech Giants to Step Up Security  

Jen Easterly, director of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, has urged Microsoft, Twitter and other technology companies to do more to protect user accounts. So reports Bloomberg.

CISAIn a speech at Carnegie Mellon University, Easterly characterized adoption of Microsoft and Twitter’s security policies as “disappointing.”

Easterly called on tech companies to sign up users for multifactor authentication and other fundamental protections by default.
