D.C. Health Breach Hits At Least 17 Congress Members  

A top Democrat investigating a hack of the District of Columbia health insurance data system said at least 17 current or former members of Congress may have had their personal information exposed in the breach. So reports CBS News.

US Capitol washington dc 2533244 640Rep. Joe Morelle (D-NY) told the news service that the breach also may have impacted hundreds of congressional staffers.

The hack, which reportedly could affect more than 56,000 people, has prompted multiple investigations and a federal civil lawsuit against the D.C. government.
