North Korea-linked 3CX Attack Hit Key Infrastructure: Symantec  

A recent attack by North Korea-linked hacker group Lazarus on video-calling software provider 3CX had more victims than previously known, including two infrastructure organizations, according to Symantec. So reports Dark Reading.

North Korea flag 2528969 640The so-called X-Trader software supply chain attack, first identified by Mandiant, spread malware by causing companies to download infected versions of 3CX software.

The two unidentified infrastructure organizations are in the United States and Europe in the power and energy business, according to Symantec.
