$10M Bounty Offered for CLoP Ransomware Details  

The U.S. government announced that it is offering a bounty of as much as $10 million for details tying the CLoP ransomware gang to a foreign state sponsor. So reports Bleeping Computer.

dollar 3706548 640smallThe U.S. State Department’s Reward for Justice program said in a tweet: “Do you have info linking CL0P Ransomware Gang or any other malicious cyber actors targeting U.S. critical infrastructure to a foreign government? Send us a tip. You could be eligible for a reward.”

The bounty offer follows the CLoP organization’s data-theft attacks on organizations globally over the Memorial Day weekend, exploiting a previously undisclosed bug in the MOVEit file transfer program.
