MOVEit Vendor Progress Software Fixes New Glitches

Progress Software, which makes the popular MOVEit file-transfer software exploited in a recent mass-hack, has rolled out patches for two more security flaws. So reports TechCrunch.

progress softwareProgress issued an advisory warning of multiple vulnerabilities, two rated “critical,” in its WS_FTP file transfer software for IT teams.

Cybersecurity firm Rapid7 told TechCrunch that hackers were taking advantage of the flaws, with evidence pointing to “possible mass exploitation of vulnerable WS_FTP servers.”
