D.C. Elections Board Warns Full Voter Roll at Risk in Hack

According to the District of Columbia Board of Elections, a recent breach of Washington, D.C. voter data potentially involved the entire voter roll. So reports CyberScoop.

ballot 1294935 640 smallThe board originally thought that hackers had accessed only 600,000 lines of the voter roll, but learned from its hosting provider that the full database was part of the breached database.

Still unknown is whether hackers were able to steal data such as voters’ Social Security numbers, driver’s licenses and phone numbers.
