Twitter Apologizes for Lapse in Securing Business Client Data

Twitter has emailed its advertisers and other business clients to apologize for a security glitch that may have exposed their data. So reports TechCrunch.

twitter 2430933 1280The company said that business customers’ email addresses, phone numbers and the last four digits of their credit card numbers were accidentally saved in the browser’s cache.

Twitter warned that it was “possible” that third parties could have accessed such billing details.
