Amazon Fixes Alexa Flaw That Exposed Voice History

Amazon has resolved a bug in its Alexa smart home devices that potentially allowed unauthorized access to users’ conversation history and other personal data. So reports the BBC.

Amazon Alexa LogoCybersecurity research firm Check Point Research said hackers could have exploited the vulnerability if a user clicked even once on a specially built malicious link.

Amazon said it didn’t know of anyone targeting users through the glitch, adding that “we appreciate the work of independent researchers like Check Point who bring potential issues to us."
