U.S. Tops World with More Than 6 Billion Data Breaches Since 2013

The United States has an unfortunate distinction: It is No. 1 in the world for data breaches over the past seven years, with more than six billion cases. So reports PCMag.com.

cyber 4610993 640smallSouth Korea is second in that category, with about one-fourth as many incidents, according to a report by price-comparison service Uswitch. Rounding out the top five top countries for data theft since 2013, in order, are Canada, the United Kingdom, and Australia.
