SolarWinds Cyber Attack Linked to Russian Spy Tools

Malware used to expose the information of as many as 18,000 clients of software vendor SolarWinds looked very much like code connected with alleged Russian spies, researchers have found. So reports Reuters.

russia 1020934 640smallMoscow-based cybersecurity firm Kaspersky linked the code to the hacking group “Turla,” which Estonian officials have said works for Russia’s FSB security agency.

The Kremlin has repeatedly denied orchestrating the ambitious cyber attack.
