JBS Meat Plants Resume Production After Cyberattack

The biggest meat packer globally, Brazil’s JBS SA, has been recovering from a crippling cyberattack. So reports Reuters.

meat hammer 2238538 640The Memorial Day weekend attack shut down all of JBS’s U.S. beef plants, according to union officials, but the company said that by June 2 the “vast majority” of its systems were resuming production.

JBS told the U.S. government that the criminal organization behind the attack was probably headquartered in Russia, according to the White House.
