'Trojan Source' Bug Exposes Computer Code: Researchers  

Essentially all computer code is susceptible to a potentially devastating bug being called the “Trojan Source” vulnerability, according to researchers. So reports Gizmodo.

trojan horse g79f3d5c21 640Researchers at the University of Cambridge in England found the flaw affecting coding compilers, software that translates human-written, “high-level” code into a machine-readable format, or “machine code.”

The researchers found that compilers typically have a flaw that could allow a bad actor to give machines code that overrides what programmers have written.
