Cybersecurity Firms Are Exposed to Threats, Too: Reposify

A host of cybersecurity vendors may be at risk due to IT assets that face the wider internet, according to a new white paper by Israel-based security vendor Reposify. So reports Dark Reading.

ReposifyReposify’s two-week scans of 35 multinational cybersecurity companies and their 350-plus subsidiaries found that 86% had at least one sensitive remote access service exposed to the internet, 80% had exposed network assets and 63% had exposed back-office internal networks.

According to Reposify, 51% of companies had “at least one exposed database that is sensitive to attack from malactors.”
