Microsoft Sounds Alarm on 'Follina' Zero-day Vulnerability  

Microsoft has warned of a zero-day vulnerability that could allow hackers to remotely take control of a computer thanks to Microsoft Office documents. So reports TechCrunch.

microsoft 80658 640smallThe U.S. Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency issued an alert calling on users to follow Microsoft’s guidance for working around the zero-day, known as Follina.

Enterprise security firm Proofpoint said Chinese state-sponsored hacker gangs had been targeting the Tibetan diaspora using the Follina zero-day.
