This comes as Rep. Peter King (R-N.Y.), a member of the House Intelligence Committee who previously served as chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee, said he would not seek reelection after 14 terms in the House.
Almost two dozen other House Republicans, several of them outspoken on cybersecurity issues, have also announced that they will not run for reelection. This trend could make it harder for Congress to head off future future cyber threats.
