Idaho National Laboratory to Expand with 20 New Labs, Supercomputer

The Idaho National Laboratory is expanding its cybersecurity work amid concerns the nation’s infrastructure security has been compromised. So reports the Idaho State Journal.

The complex is adding an 80,000-square-foot Cybercore Integration Center to house 20 laboratories with a separate 67,000-square-foot Collaborative Computing Center, which will be home to “one of the nation’s most powerful supercomputers.” Together, they will cost about $85 million.
