Port of Los Angeles, IBM Team on $7M Cybersecurity Center

IBM has announced a nearly $7 million deal with the Port of Los Angeles to set up a center focused on cybersecurity. So reports StateScoop.

handshake 220233 1280The busiest shipping port in North America inked a three-year deal with IBM to launch the Cyber Resilience Center, aimed at curbing threats that could disrupt the flow of cargo.

“The Cyber Resilience Center will provide a cutting-edge early warning system to further defend the Port and its stakeholders against cyber threats," said Gene Seroka, the port’s executive director, said in a press release,
