Chinese Hackers Aim At Indian Vaccine Makers: Cyber Firm

Cybersecurity firm Cyfirma has warned that a Chinese hacking group has had two Indian coronavirus vaccine makers’ in its crosshairs in recent weeks. So reports Reuters.

china 156219 640smallState-backed hacking group PT10, aka Stone Panda, has spotted weakness in the IT networks of Bharat Biotech and the Serum Institute of India.

Cyfirma CEO Kumar Ritesh, formerly a British intelligence agent, said the hackers’ goal was to steal intellectual property to help Chinese businesses outcompete Indian pharmaceutical makers.
