American, United Among Airlines Hit in Data Breach

Airlines such as American and United have warned customers that they were affected by a data breach involving aviation IT company SITA. So reports TechCrunch.

plane 841441 640smallSITA recently disclosed that a cyber attack on February 24 compromised certain passenger data held on U.S. servers.

Others affected include Malaysia Airlines, Finnair, Singapore Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Air New Zealand, Lufthansa, and South Korea-based Jeju Air.
