European Regulator Warns of Russian Cyber Threat Against Banks  

The European Central Bank has been bracing financial institutions for potential Russian cyberattacks following the massing of the Kremlin’s troops at Ukraine’s border, according to two people familiar with the matter. So reports Reuters.

While the ECB declined to comment, the news follows an alert from the New York Department of Financial Services telling banks to prepare for cyberattacks if a Russian invasion prompts U.S. sanctions.
