Georgia Voters' Info Leaks in Third-party Data Breach  

Some Georgia voters’ registration information surfaced online after a data breach of voting software company EasyVote Solutions. So reports The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Easy Vote LogoEasyVote Chief Financial Officer Charles Davis said information posted to an online forum included names, addresses, races, and birthdates, but not Social Security numbers or driver’s license numbers.

EasyVote offers software that simplifies the check-in process for voters during early voting. It isn’t connected to official voter registration systems and it’s not used for election results.
