Companies Left 'Waiting' Amid Warnings of Russian Cyberattacks  

Multinational companies have found themselves forced to sit tight after weeks of warnings that Russia’s conflict in Ukraine could lead to wider cyberattacks. So reports The Wall Street Journal.

Dawn Cappelli, recently retired chief information security officer of Wisconsin manufacturing-tech company Rockwell Automation Inc., told the Journal, “Waiting is very disconcerting.”

Senate Intelligence Committee Chairman Mark Warner (D-Va.) said that the relative quiet thus far on the cyber front has probably been because Russia was choosing to hold back, not because it couldn’t strike digitally.
