Datto, Sailpoint Each Ink $6B-plus Deals in Cyber M&A Wave

A recent wave of consolidation has continued to splash across the cybersecurity industry, with Datto and Sailpoint each separately agreeing to be acquired for more than $6 billion. So reports Cybersecurity Dive.

DattoDatto has been purchased by IT security firm Kaseya for $6.2 billion, while software investment firm Thoma Bravo is taking Sailpoint private in a $6.9 billion deal.

The moves follow Google’s $5.4 billion purchase of Mandiant.
