Wawa Judge OKs $12M Data Breach Settlement

Convenience store chain Wawa and a class of almost 22 million customers have gained a judge’s final approval for a $12 million settlement stemming from a 2019 data breach. So reports Convenience Store News.

wawaU.S. District Court Judge Gene E.K. Pratter signed off on the pact, which was first put into the legal record in 2021.

Customers may receive up to $500 in cash based on the extent of harm caused by the security incident.
